Equipment Rental
Here at Tide, we have a range of quality kitesurfing, wing foiling and landboarding equipment available for supervised rentals.
Rentals are tide and weather dependent so please contact us ahead of time to make sure we can accommodate your needs and arrange suitable times. These rentals will be at Minnis Bay or Pegwell Bay depending on the wind direction and have a minimum time of two hours.
Insurance
We require proof of a valid BKSA membership before rental. This covers you for third-party liability up to £5 million in case of injury or damage. We strongly recommend that you have this membership at all times with or without rentals.
Rider Assessment & BKSA / IKO Certification
To hire equipment we ask that you provide proof of your riding ability through BKSA / IKO cards or certification to show that you are at a competent level. You are also required to pass a 10-minute rider assessment before heading into the water. If you are unsuccessful, you will need a private lesson with an instructor before being able to rent equipment.

You will be asked to sign a rental agreement, give us a recognised form of ID and a bank card when hiring equipment.
If you lose or damage any rental equipment, you will pay for it at Tide Watersports discretion. This will be paying for any minor repairs or paying for the equipment at cost.
